Jamileh Jemison balks at bios, but has lived at least six lives of her own making (so far), and many hundreds more through reading. Inspired early on by Harriet the Spy, Sherluck Bones, and The Wind in the Willows, observation, reinvention, ditching chores for adventure, and believing animals (and plants) might just talk to her are all active threads in her life. After earning three degrees in biology, Jamileh decided to work in the field to support her book habit. When not reading, she enjoys being a novice at multiple arts, and does actually smile IRL.
